Macroeconomics
Preface
This is an online interactive book on Macroeconomics which I teach at the University of Warwick both in the Department of Economics and Business School.
Who is this for?
This is an intermediate-level book for people who already know some basic microeconomics and macroeconomics, and who want to learn about the analytical tools that economists use for policy analysis. It is aimed at students who have already completed an introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics course at the undergraduate level. The book is also suitable for the general public who want to learn more about how economists think about the world.
Why?
I would like to create a modern macroeconomics course which introduces students to the analytical tools that economists use for policy analysis. For example, in this course you will see at first theory then will try to apply it to real world data and python programming.
In other words, you will learn how to use the tools of macroeconomics to understand the real world better.
Credit
I used many text books and online resources to create this book. I would like to thank all the authors of these books and online resources. I have tried to give credit to all of them in the book. If you think I have missed any, please let me know.
